E14 Area Guide
E14 is made up of Canary Wharf, Docklands, Tower Hamlets, Limehouse, Poplar, Westferry, Millwall, Cubitt Town, Blackwall, West India Quay, Heron Quay, South Quay, Crossharbour, Mudchute and Island Gardens. E14 area was just marshland after being flooded several times by the river Thames and it was left derelict for many years. In the 80s LDDC (London Docklands Development Corporation) worked towards securing the 8.5 square miles regeneration project of London Docklands. This attracted many investors from abroad and shaped up The E14 area into what it is now. The impressive sight of towering structures of the financial district can been seen from many high viewpoints across London.
